Well, this is it! My last few days on the project here at my cottage in the wilds of northern England.  Putting the finishing touches to my artwork, websites, promotional leaflets and business cards, getting myself ready for the off on Sunday.

Its been a journey to get to this point!  What a deep inner process such an undertaking brings with it.  Having never attempted such a thing before in my life, as co-creating an art installation/exhibition/shop, I have just simply dived in, and hoped for the best.  Even the whole subject of time and energy management is a huge learning curve in these circumstances, especially when producing from home.

Suffice to say, I feel that all will be alright on the night, and I will come out the other side, at the beginning of August, all the better for the experience, and a lot wiser.

Blessings, dear friends
Smiles and magical moments...
Jay xx

Hi, and how are you? Well, I seem to be having a little bit of a set back healthwise, although it only ever serves to bring me more into my body and focusing on listening to what my needs are.  I do tend to get carried away when I am busying around the house, there's always things I could do, and especially with my project looking at me constantly.  And so, again, I slow down and take regular rests rather than rest when I have gone past the point when I could have! Ah well, such is life and even so, it is always beautiful... even today in the rain and dark clouds, a little lambs face watches me, I see sleepy foals lying in fields closely guarded by their mums, the hawthorn newly blossomed, the gold of the grasses near where I live, buying a canvas to be creative on, ribbon too... Yes, there is much to be grateful for, and not least for all my five senses. Thank you.

Here it is, mid May, and time seems to be rushing by, and also there is a stillness here too, as if there is no such thing as time... and yet, I have a deadline so I look to find my way of moving along without anxiety... finding balance within a life that continues to move.

I have created some pieces for the Yoni Heart exhibition... even so, my main piece has yet to be created; a large canvas the vision of which came to me last year when I was in Thailand.  I'm looking forward to her appearing on the canvas, though will prepare the background first and when that is ready, I shall begin!  Its an interesting process, that's for sure, the like of which brings up all kinds of resistances to the creative flow... for instance, my mind will find other jobs in the house which are suddenly very important and must be done today... hmmm!

And so, move on I will, step by step as can only truly happen, and I will arrive at the top of the mountain one day ~ and know I have enjoyed the view every step of the way :-) Love to all!

I have been immersed in the project I am co-creating with my friend Kay, for the Glastonbury Goddess Conference at the end of July (details on my events page).  It is a very interesting process, taking me deep into my feelings about my abilities and inner challenges, especially with my house guest, Fibromyalgia as company, always reminding me to take rest, slow down, breeeeathe etc.  Very useful, although not always welcome!  I have days of productive flow and days where it is the opposite, where I get to experience frustration and look at how I might deal with that constructively.  Frustration is, after all, not very useful and really only serves to use up more energy without actually achieving anything!  I am always learning, baby step by baby step, at how is the most loving way to be with myself.

Its been a week since I first published the site, although there was a hitch and it wasn't available online for a few days until it was sorted out.  Today I've done a lot more work on it and feel like its really beginning to take shape!  Its been a very good focus for me, making today 'website day' as it can be a challenge to get focused and maintain it.  Tomorrow is 'studio day' where I will pick up with creating artwork for the project I am working on with my beautiful friend, Kay, for the Goddess Conference at the end of July this year.  I have created this website due to the inspiration I have gained from being given the opportunity to be involved in this wonderful conference, where women and men come from all over the world to create this loving community for a week or so in Glastonbury.  Bye for now!

Oh my Goodness! Today my little site was published on the Internet.  I hadn't planned it that way, it just got swept along on the current of life as I worked through the process of its creation.  It's somewhat scary, having never endeavoured to create such a thing before and also have it live online for all to see... well, for those who happen upon me in this way.  I still have quite a way to go before this site is finished, so much more to add and polish.  I hope you enjoy it :) x

Hi, I'm Jay.  I've created my site as a resource centre for women, particularly to support those who are experiencing the difficulties that come with such conditions as Chronic Fatigue and Fibromalgia.  I hope you find it helpful.  I offer this with love.
